**Job Description**:

- MS SQL Server DBA (L3 / L2 Level Support for SQL Server): 2022 / 2019 / 2017 / 2016 / 2014
- Hands on technical experience with AG replica failover/Failback and HA-DR Solutions (Log shipping / Replication / Mirroring).
- Experience in Database Administration including Installation, Configuration, User Access Management, Backup/Recovery, Monitoring and Performance Tuning, Space Utilization.
- Troubleshoot issues related to SQL Backup - Restore, DB performance, Shrink DB files, Blocking and deadlock,
- SQL Server Build including Post QA checks.
- SQL Server Upgradation / Patching on Always ON / Standby servers.
- Perform system health checks and provide recommendation reports.
- PowerShell programming experience preferred (would like to automate sql installs, and other processes)
- DB maintenance plans, Plan and Perform Patching (pre and post checks), Server Decommissioning
- Administration and refinement for Monitoring tools: Review, revise, and update monitoring thresholds and alerts to enable infrastructure stability.
- Installation/Upgradation/Migration of SQL Servers.
- Configure High Availability/Disaster recovery solutions.
- Configure automated alerts to send a mail to team if any issues.
- Conduct T- SQL Code Reviews to ensure coding standards, best practices and avoid potential performance issues.
- Attend CAB ( Change Advisory Board) meeting and get proper approvals from product owners to implement DB changes.

- Join bridge calls to troubleshoot and fix P1(SEV1) and P2 (SEV2) incidents.
- work on performance tuning like provide suggestions to crete indexes and tune stored procedures.
- Troubleshoot recurring problems and fix them permanently.
- Conduct DB DR Drill activity, ensure to bring the DR site online if any outage at Primary site.
- Work on prepare and create standardize operational and process documents.
