Total Exp – 6 to 9 years Location – Pune (Hybrid) 3 months contract and extendable.     Requirements   Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated ColdFusion Server Administrator to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing ColdFusion servers, ensuring optimal performance, and troubleshooting issues related to ColdFusion applications and environments. You will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, maintenance, and security of ColdFusion servers, ensuring high availability and efficient performance. Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and manage ColdFusion servers (including installation, configuration, and updates) in a production environment.
  • Monitor the health and performance of ColdFusion servers, troubleshooting and resolving server-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Manage ColdFusion application deployments, environment configurations, and version control.
  • Configure and maintain ColdFusion environments (development, testing, production) and integrate them with web servers like Apache, IIS, or Nginx.
  • Optimize server performance by tuning ColdFusion settings, JVM settings, and database queries.
  • Perform regular security audits and ensure the server is secure from vulnerabilities, implementing patches and updates as necessary.
  • Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot ColdFusion application issues and improve server performance.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to development teams on ColdFusion-related best practices.
  • Maintain server documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.
  • Work with database administrators to ensure seamless integration between ColdFusion applications and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
  • Ensure server backup procedures are in place, performing regular backups and restoring data when necessary.
  • Assist in disaster recovery planning and implementation for ColdFusion server environments.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ColdFusion server updates, patches, and industry trends.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a ColdFusion Server Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with ColdFusion server administration, including setting up, managing, and optimizing ColdFusion servers.
  • Proficiency in web server management (Apache, IIS, Nginx).
  • Strong knowledge of ColdFusion Markup Language (CFML) and integration with databases (MySQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle, etc.).
  • Experience with server monitoring tools, log analysis, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with operating systems such as Linux/Unix and Windows.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Knowledge of security best practices for web applications and server environments.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in ColdFusion or related technologies.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) for ColdFusion server management.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Docker.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Shell, PowerShell, etc.) for automation.
