Telecommunications Architect

**Summary**:
The Enterprise Infrastructure Architect will drive the efforts to align technology and business strategy, leverage technology investments, and optimize end to end business processes associated with technology. Through these efforts, the Architect will improve the competitive position of TeleTech businesses through technology enabled processes. This Executive Director level role reports to the VP, Global Infrastructure & Operations.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Defines industry leading designs in the areas of infrastructure technologies in the areas of: VoIP and SIP architectures, ACD architectures, virtualization, VDI, LAN/WAN, Security, Storage, public and private cloud, mobility solutions, & security platforms.
- Design large scale cloud based infrastructures
- Design effective IT Service Delivery Models that incorporate new technologies and services into day to day operations and support that ensures a world-class service experience for our clients.
- Support internal business units, technology teams and individuals to design and implement infrastructure.
- Communicates strategic knowledge relating to infrastructure technology trends and solutions that meet user needs and network requirements.
- Assumes leadership position to drive a consistent and consolidated technology solution. Understand the company's business plan, functional areas, and associated technologies.
- Coordinates business unit technology direction and drives alignment related to technology and services.
- Constructs infrastructure technology roadmaps that are confirmed through cost-benefit analysis, and alignment with technology standards and roadmaps.
- Provide guidance and oversight to engineering teams on topics related to infrastructure technologies.
- Maintains external vendor relationships that can be used to leverage, and influence technology decision-making.

**Required Skills**:

- 12+ years architecture, design, development, deployment, integration, and configuration of Contact Center systems or combined experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. BA/BS degree or equivalent experience or certifications
- Demonstrated fluency and understanding of contact center technology environments.
- Cisco ACI skills are strongly preferred.
- In-depth design skills of next generation communications such as SIP-VoIP/Digital Voice and large scale ACD architectures.
- Experienced with cloud delivered services, preferably GCP.
- Experienced in the analysis, design and planning phases of technology related projects.
- Experience selecting technology paths and design of the initiatives
- In-depth knowledge of Voice Over IP; experience with Cisco and Avaya VOIP Products.
- In-depth knowledge of IP Routing, Quality of Service technologies with demonstrated implementation in a large enterprise organization.
- In-depth knowledge of F5 BIG-IP with implementation experience in a large enterprise organization.
- Experience in MPLS/VRF and Managed services in a Large-Scale Network.
- Provides coordination and facilitates Network lead for company initiatives while providing best information on ROI on projects and purchases.
- A documentation first mindset backed by an understanding for what goes into creating the perfect document. Strong writing skills are a must.
- A desire to learn in an extremely fast-paced environment.
- A desire to be hands-on (non-production)
