**Job Summary**: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie with a specialization in coffee roasting to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Coffee Roast Master, you will be responsible for overseeing the coffee roasting process, ensuring the highest quality and consistency in our coffee offerings. You will collaborate closely with the culinary team to integrate coffee into our menu, enhance flavor profiles, and provide an exceptional coffee experience for our guests.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Coffee Roasting**:

- Manage and operate coffee roasting equipment to roast coffee beans to perfection, following established roasting profiles.
- Develop and refine coffee roasting profiles to achieve desired flavor characteristics and ensure consistency across batches.
- Monitor and control roasting times, temperatures, and other variables to produce high-quality coffee.
- **Menu Development**:

- Collaborate with the culinary team to create and enhance coffee-based recipes and dishes.
- Experiment with different coffee varieties and blends to complement the menu offerings.
- Provide input on coffee pairings and educate staff on the nuances of coffee flavors.
- **Quality Control**:

- Conduct regular cuppings and taste tests to evaluate coffee quality and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain strict quality standards for all coffee products, from sourcing beans to final presentation.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of coffee beans to preserve freshness and flavor.
- **Training and Education**:

- Train and mentor kitchen staff on coffee roasting techniques and the art of coffee preparation.
- Educate team members and customers on the origin, characteristics, and preparation methods of different coffee varieties.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in coffee roasting technology and techniques.
- **Operational Duties**:

- Assist in managing kitchen operations, ensuring a smooth workflow and timely production of coffee-based dishes and beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee roasting area and equipment.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering and tracking coffee beans and related supplies.
- **Customer Experience**:

- Engage with customers to share knowledge about coffee roasting and brewing techniques.
- Ensure that every cup of coffee served meets the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Contribute to creating a unique and memorable coffee experience for guests.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a professional kitchen.
- Expertise in coffee roasting, including knowledge of various coffee bean varieties, roasting profiles, and flavor development.
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene standards.
- Passion for coffee and culinary arts with a creative approach to integrating coffee into dishes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Formal culinary training or certification is a plus.
