As an Accountant, you will be part of the World Wide New Leasing Standards (NLS) Accounting Team and closely work with Fixed Assets Ops, Entity Controllers and various other functions across Cisco to ensure that everyone is in compliance with the NLS (New Leasing Standards)requirements.

In this role, your responsibilities will include the following:

- This role requires managing the General Ledger (GL) for Cisco's group entities across global for New Leasing Standard and Fixed Assets related activities.
- Support the New Leasing Standard operations with periodic accruals process, responsible for planning and driving book GL close activities, including Balance Sheet commentary and general ledger close.
- Participate in post mortem reviews for the said Function/Process and monitoring the operational metrics & SLA’s.
- Liaising with the Operations team, Controller’s group & other cross functional teams.
- Preparation of reconciliation for various assets and liability accounts under NLS (New Leasing Standards),
- Strong transaction processing and accounting background
- Should be hands on with GL close and reconciliation
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner
- Ability to communicate well and manage stakeholder expectations in a cross functional and multinational environment
