**Job Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
1. **Production Planning**:

- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and organizational goals.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure raw materials, manpower, and equipment are available as needed.

2. **Quality Assurance**:

- Implement and monitor quality control procedures to maintain high standards of production.
- Identify and address any issues related to product quality and make recommendations for improvement.

3. **Process Optimization**:

- Continuously evaluate and improve production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Introduce and implement new technologies or methodologies to increase productivity.

4. **Team Leadership**:

- Lead and motivate production teams to achieve production targets and maintain a positive work environment.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.

5. **Resource Management**:

- Manage and allocate resources effectively, including manpower, machinery, and materials.
- Work closely with procurement to ensure the availability of raw materials and components.

6. **Health and Safety**:

- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.

7. **Communication**:

- Liaise with other departments such as sales, marketing, and logistics to coordinate production activities.
- Communicate production goals, timelines, and performance metrics to the executive team.

8. **Budget Management**:

- Collaborate with finance to develop and manage the production budget.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to control expenses.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Operations Management).
- Proven experience in production management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and solve problems.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.
- Proficient in using relevant software for production planning and control.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
