The Restaurant Marketing Executive will be responsible for implementing field-based marketing campaigns and strategies to increase the visibility of the restaurant, engage with local communities, and drive foot traffic to the restaurant. This role involves executing local promotions, conducting market research, and building partnerships within the community.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Local Marketing Campaign Execution**:
- Develop and execute local marketing strategies and campaigns to promote the restaurant in target areas.
- Coordinate and manage promotional events, product sampling, and special community outreach efforts.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align field marketing efforts with overall brand goals and initiatives.
- **Community Engagement**:
- Build relationships with local businesses, influencers, and organizations to drive collaborative marketing initiatives (e.g., cross-promotions, sponsorships, local events).
- Represent the restaurant at community events, trade shows, festivals, and other local functions to raise awareness and generate buzz.
- Organize in-store activations and promotions, such as giveaways, pop-up events, and limited-time offers.
- **Customer Relationship Management**:
- Engage directly with customers through face-to-face interactions, providing them with information about the restaurant’s offerings, events, and promotions.
- Conduct customer surveys, gather feedback, and track customer behavior to inform marketing strategies and improve customer experience.
- Promote loyalty programs and encourage repeat visits through personalized interactions.
- **Brand Awareness & Visibility**:
- Execute guerrilla marketing tactics, outdoor advertising, and local partnerships to increase brand visibility in the local market.
- Distribute promotional materials such as flyers, posters, and branded merchandise in high-traffic areas.
- Ensure consistent branding and messaging in all field marketing efforts.
- **Partnership Development**:
- Build and maintain partnerships with local vendors, suppliers, and organizations to support co-branded marketing efforts and local sponsorships.
- Identify and create opportunities for collaboration with influencers, local chefs, or food bloggers to drive traffic and awareness.
- **Event Planning & Coordination**:
- Plan and coordinate restaurant-hosted events such as tastings, themed nights, and cooking demonstrations to attract local customers.
- Manage logistics and oversee event execution, ensuring a seamless experience for attendees and maximizing event success.
- Collaborate with the restaurant’s team to ensure the events are aligned with the restaurant’s overall goals and brand values.
- **Market Research & Reporting**:
- Conduct research on local market trends, competitors, and customer preferences to identify new opportunities and challenges.
- Track the effectiveness of field marketing campaigns and report on key metrics such as foot traffic, sales, and customer engagement.
- Provide regular updates and feedback to the marketing team and restaurant management regarding campaign performance and community response.
- **Budget Management**:
- Oversee the field marketing budget and ensure that all activities are executed within financial constraints while maximizing ROI.
- Track expenditures for local marketing initiatives and provide reports on budget allocation and spend efficiency.
**Requirements**:
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality, or related field (preferred).
- **Experience**: 2-3 years of experience in marketing, field marketing, or event management, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- **Skills**:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to connect with customers and local businesses.
- Proven experience in managing events and executing local promotions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Creative problem-solving and ability to adapt marketing efforts based on local market needs.
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of digital marketing tools and social media platforms is a plus.
