**Job Title**: PGT (PE)
- Physical Education

**Reports to**: Principal & Deputy Director

**Job Profile**: PE Teachers are responsible for advancing their students’ physical ability and knowledge of sports. They are responsible for the welfare of their students and for ensuring that students can gain the qualifications they need to advance their education or their desired career paths after school.
- Supervising practical PE lessons, including both indoor and outdoor classes
- Ensuring that children compete to their ability level and aren’t exposed to unnecessary injury or illness through school sports
- Motivating school children to take up new sports or athletic pursuits
- Evaluating the performance of students throughout the school year
- Attending parents’ evenings and providing parents with comprehensive reports on their child’s progress
- Training and coaching school sports teams to compete and succeed in nation-wide events
- Transporting individual competitors, school teams and other teachers to and from school sporting events
- Ensuring that students pass their practical and theoretical PE exams
- Maintaining the discipline for the School students
- Taking evening sports class for the Boarding school students

Educational: Degree in M.Ped
- Relevant certification may be required.
- Physical Fitness.
- Knowledge of teaching styles recommended.
- Excellent interpersonal, as well as written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of many kinds of exercise
- Excellent understanding of stretching and other safety concerns
- First aid training
- Compassion and respect for all students
- Understanding of students' disabilities and adaptive PE techniques where applicable
- Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Strong multitasking skills.

Work Experience: Min 3 years as PE in a reputed school.

**Selection Process**:
Written Examination, Subject Demo & Personal/Walk-in Interview.
