Art & Craft Teacher

**Job Overview**:
As an Art & Craft Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching students creative expression through various art forms and crafts. You will guide students in developing their artistic skills, encouraging imagination and innovation. You will design engaging lesson plans, deliver instruction, and create a positive and inspiring environment for students to explore their creativity.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Curriculum Planning and Instruction**:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive art & craft curriculum that aligns with educational standards.
- Teach students various art forms, including drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, têxtiles, ceramics, and craft activities.
- Design and prepare lesson plans that cater to different age groups and skill levels, fostering creativity and technical proficiency.
- Introduce students to art history, famous artists, and global art trends as part of the curriculum.

**Skill Development**:

- Teach fundamental artistic techniques (e.g., shading, color theory, composition, and texture).
- Encourage students to experiment with different materials such as clay, paper, paint, and fabric.
- Guide students through creative processes to help them express their ideas and emotions through art.
- Provide constructive feedback on students' work to help them refine their artistic skills.

**Classroom Management**:

- Create and maintain an organized and safe classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
- Manage classroom activities, ensuring students remain engaged and focused.
- Supervise the use of art tools and materials, ensuring safety standards are followed.

**Student Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Assess and evaluate students’ artwork based on creativity, technique, and effort.
- Provide ongoing feedback to students, guiding their progress.
- Prepare and conduct regular evaluations (tests, assignments, and art projects) to track student progress.

**Promote Creativity and Expression**:

- Encourage students to explore their unique artistic voices and think critically about their art.
- Organize art exhibitions and craft fairs to showcase students' work to the school community and beyond.
- Inspire students to create both individual and collaborative pieces, enhancing their confidence and teamwork skills.

**Collaboration and Communication**:

- Work closely with other teachers and staff to integrate art into various school events and activities.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration regarding student progress and events.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students interested in pursuing art further outside of school hours.

**Administrative Responsibilities**:

- Maintain records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
- Order and manage art supplies and materials, ensuring adequate stock for lessons.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and professional development opportunities.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
