For this role we believe you have 8-10 years of experience and proven record of consistently meeting/exceeding results in executing Sourcing activities for large Retail Projects and Warehouses with good knowledge and experience in various Material Handling and Storage solutions (can work across Forklifts, warehouse racking, picking, and packing equipment, Store Equipment, Retail Fit-outs; and potentially automation). It is important that the person is self-driven/autonomous, has few years of purchasing experience and able to work both on operational/tactical and strategic level. Working in international team and be able to drive business outside of India is also important. Able to navigate well and independently in a complex stakeholder environment.
- Experience in Strategic sourcing and ability to identify business opportunities to establish long term strategic partnerships with Key Suppliers
- Good knowledge of Supplier Relationship and Performance Management to drive overall quality improvement, cost optimization and innovation.
- Knowledge of Category cost / market drivers / value chain and trends to contribute to build sourcing strategies
- Have executed Project Procurement of Material Handling and Storage solutions for Green field projects / Retail / warehouse developments.
- Good Knowledge in RFx preparation, contract drafting, contract negotiation and execution.
- Good knowledge of Post Contract and change Management process including commercial negotiation, claims and disputes
- Ability to identify and mitigate potential procurement risks
- Sound understanding of Total Cost of Ownership
- Contribute to creation of Category plans
- Experience in working in international team environment
- Execute and Implement Key priorities identified in Category plan (both country/regional/global level)

- Negotiate to secure the best value and commercial terms for Ingka.
- Responsible to meet and exceed cost saving targets contributing to overall Ingka Procurement goals.
- Contribute with good legal Knowledge of Purchase agreements and Contract structuring.
- Ability to Contribute to budget inputs for new expansion projects
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
- Strong knowledge in purchasing practices and related processes
- Good knowledge of industry and market specific conditions
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong financial competence and understanding
- Experience in SAP procurement tools such as ARIBA/S4Hana

- Through proactive market monitoring give input about sourcing options, supplier market, market trends and contributing to the development of the category/sourcing plans
