**Job Title: Academic Coordinator**
**THIS IS A SPECIAL OPPORTUNITY OF A DIFFERENT KIND**.
The Academic Coordinator represents the Academy to prospective students, parents, and all associates, bodies and works to increase operational excellence, overall student performance as per the philosophy and unique education concept offered by the school/academy.
The successful Academic Coordinator exhibits superior interpersonal skills and professionalism throughout daily interactions and communications with all stakeholders. Must be strong in planning and coordinating, proactive, creative and a go getter and must demonstrate an ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with team members, faculty, students, administrators and staff.
**Roles & Responsibilities**:
Work closely with the Head of the School on a daily to ensure the smooth overall academic coordination and operations:
- Coordinate and oversee the execution of the Curricular and Co-curricular Programme as per guidelines
- Model and promote best practices in teaching and learning
- Coordinate for School curriculum completion with the Teachers and Coaches (sports and other areas of holistic education that we offer)
- Effectively guide, hand-hold, motivate teachers to drive their best as per the Academy’s curriculum philosophy
- Lead on pedagogical initiatives and approaches.
- Ensure that quality educational programmes take place in a safe, positive and healthy learning environment
- Promote high standards in all aspects of school life, particularly in student progress
- Engage positively in the school appraisal process and performance management arrangements
- Effectively plan and manage, supervise various events like parent orientation, PTM, sports day, coffee meets, student events & competition
- Ensure parent delight during all parent interfaces with the school management by effectively handling parent concerns
- Keep up to date with changes and initiatives in teaching methods & systems.
- Coordinate with Central Committees to implement curriculum as per guidelines
- Effectively ensure that the teaching staff is optimally engaged at all points in time and all additional academic work is timely completed
- Effectively ensure that all process is followed in line with the policies laid down by the Board and Central Committees
- Coordinate with the Principal and management to ensure the information called for by the board, education department, central office is shared with them within timelines and as per guidelines
- Support committees of staff and parents that function to improve the learning and social environment of the school for the students.
- Responsible for all documentation work regarding student & staff related academics performance, discipline, etc
- Actively support the values, vision, ethos, culture and policies of the school
- Inspire and motivate students, teachers and other school employees
- Contribute to a school culture which is positive, purposeful and professional
- Any other assignments as directed by the managing committee
**Expected Competencies**
- Demonstrate empathy, humility and genuinely care about all stake holders
- Respect for all members of a school community, irrespective of position, gender, age and ethnic background
- Good analytical skills ability to make recommendations based on information gathered and sound judgment.
- Sound Technical skills to manage the dynamic online and offline learning platforms
- Ability to drive consensus in decision making, especially in conflicting situations
- Result oriented, mentor and leader focused on outcomes and ability to stand up to committed deliverables
- Demonstrated ability to work in a high growth and dynamic School environment.
Years of experiences : Qualified teachers with minimum 5+ years of relevant experience, leadership skills, pedagogical knowledge, ability to train teachers, having worked in reputed CBSE schools as coordinators only need apply.
Qualification: Post Graduate / Graduate (B Ed mandatory) Should have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Lead teacher.
