Technical Skills
Microsoft Purview Expertise (required)
Unified Data Catalog: Experience setting up and configuring the catalog, managing collections, classifications, glossary terms, and metadata curation.
Data Quality (DQ): Implementing DQ rules, defining metrics (accuracy, completeness, consistency), and using quality scorecards and reports.
Data Map and Scans: Ability to configure sources, schedule scans, manage ingestion, and troubleshoot scan issues.
Data Insights and Lineage: Experience visualizing data lineage and interpreting catalog insights.

Azure Platform Knowledge (Desirable)
Azure Data Factory
Azure Synapse Analytics
Microsoft Fabric including OneLake

Experience
3to 5+ years in data governance or data platform projects, ideally with enterprise clients.
2+ years implementing Microsoft Purview or similar tools (Collibra, Informatica, Alation).
Hands-on experience configuring and implementing Microsoft Purview Unified Catalog and Data Quality
Experience onboarding multiple data sources (on-prem, cloud).
Background in data management, data architecture, or business intelligence is highly beneficial.

Certifications Desirable
Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer Associate
Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert
