Job Summary:
The Academic Coordinator for Pre-Primary is responsible for overseeing the academic curriculum and instructional strategies for early childhood education. This role involves collaborating with teachers, parents, and administration to ensure a nurturing, stimulating, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Curriculum Development**:

- Design and implement a comprehensive, age-appropriate curriculum aligned with early childhood education standards.
- Regularly review and update curricular materials to incorporate best practices in early childhood education.
- **Teacher Support and Development**:

- Provide ongoing support and professional development opportunities for pre-primary educators.
- Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to enhance teaching practices.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Develop and oversee assessment tools to evaluate student progress and program effectiveness.
- Analyze assessment data to inform instructional strategies and curriculum improvements.
- **Parental Engagement**:

- Foster strong communication with parents and guardians to support student learning and development.
- Organize workshops and informational sessions for parents on early childhood education topics.
- **Program Administration**:

- Assist in the administration of budgets and resources for the pre-primary program.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies related to early childhood education.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work collaboratively with other academic coordinators and staff to promote a cohesive educational experience across grades.
- Participate in school committees and contribute to school-wide initiatives.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in early childhood education, with leadership experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of child development theories and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and families.
