**Description**

The Senior Monitoring Engineer's primary role will be providing product and infrastructure support to the tools like

**Responsibilities**
- Perform the implementation and ongoing management of the overall design, solution, and strategy of end point monitoring tools **(ControlUP / NextThink** etc.
- Should be exceptionally good with **PowerShell scripting** to develop sealf healing scripts / automation.
- Work with vendors and internal technology teams on implementation and customization of various reporting.
- Carry out maintenance/upgrades on all end points monitoring agents.
- Research, analyze, recommend, and implement new software, hardware, tools, systems, and processes to provide state-of-the-art monitoring experience
- Provide presentation to client, upper management, and peers as it pertains to Unified Communications technology roadmap, architecture, engineering, and provisioning.
- Build solutions and implementation plans utilizing the appropriate internal and external resources and ensuring full involvement of business partners and communication to all stakeholders.
- Provide detailed runbook procedure and support documentation for routine maintenance on the monitoring systems
- Develop technical standards, define operational processes, and configuration best practices for monitoring infrastructure.
- Monitor the latest market trend and industrial landscape to discover opportunities to improve customer experience and reduce operating cost
- Provide incident management and support to the critical issues escalated by Digital Operations team
- Work with the Operational Support leadership team to ensure compliance with the Operational and Vendor escalation procedures.

**Required Skills**:

- 6 to 8 years of relevant hands-on experience in managing end point monitoring tools like **ControlUP / NextThink** etc.
- Should be exceptionally good with **PowerShell scripting** to develop sealf healing scripts / automation.
- Experience on Virtual end point technology (VDI / VMware etc.)
- Good knowledge in supporting end user infrastructure issues.
- Strong troubleshooting skills accompanying creating thinking to resolve complex and non-complex issues.
- Must possess excellent customer service, follow up and organizational skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communications skills complemented by proven expertise in relationship building and management.
- Understanding of ITIL standard methodologies and processes
- Experience with manufacturer/vendor support (raising cases, escalating)
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Experience working with SDKs / REST APIs (ServiceNow, Citrix, VMWare etc)
- Programming/Scripting experience (PowerShell/C#/Python etc)
- Desirable experience with Apple Mac (Bash / JAMF)
- Experience working programmatically with Active Directory & Azure AD
- Beneficial experience with VMWare vSphere, Citrix XenDesktop & Citrix DaaS, Azure.
