We are seeking an experienced Safety Officer for Mahuvej Plant Location to ensure our plant’s compliance with safety regulations. The role involves conducting risk assessments, managing fire safety procedures, organising safety training, and maintaining safety documentation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with local environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections to assess and improve safety standards.
- Identify potential hazards and assess risks related to water loss, electricity loss, and air loss; propose corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain records and reports on safety activities and accidents.
- Conduct safety training sessions for staff and ensure that safety measures are understood and followed.
- Follow up on incidents and accidents and ensure investigations are conducted according to company policies and SOPs.
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with SOPs in all safety-related procedures and activities.
- Regularly review and update safety procedures to comply with industry standards and legal requirement.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in safety and environmental health.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) practices.
- Proven experience with water, electricity, and air loss management.
- Familiarity with developing and following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance.
- Ability to conduct safety audits and investigations.
- Relevant certifications in safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent) would be advantageous.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
