We are looking for a Web Designer II to join our Web team, reporting to the Director of Web Strategy and Content. In this role, you will create and manage all visual and interactive aspects of the website, from wireframing page templates through prototyping the expected interactivity of webpage elements. This position will collaborate closely with brand owners, web experience strategists, product managers, web developers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into visually appealing designs that support user needs and business goals. The Web UX/UI Designer will be instrumental in driving design innovation and visually crafting compelling B2B products stories for our users.

**What you’ll do**:

- Develop visually compelling web designs that align with the Infoblox brand identity, creating user interfaces that enhance the overall digital experience across devices, and keeping web usability standards top-of-mind
- Create prototypes in Figma, supporting design explorations and aiding cross-functional teams in understanding visual flow and user interactions
- Participate in creating the vision for new web templates, including initiating ideation sessions, conducting competitor UX research, creating user flows and wireframing, prototyping interactivity, and polishing final designs
- Work effectively within cross-functional teams to ensure quality assurance, brand compliance, SEO best practices, UX best practices, and web accessibility standards
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects with varying timelines, degrees of complexity, and scope. Balance quick turnaround times for incremental updates with the longer-term demands of design system management and large projects
- Present to stakeholders and be a strong advocate for designs that align with brand consistency, strong usability, audience needs, and business goals, effectively communicating design rationales and trade-offs
- Break down page design requirements into user flows, detailed wireframes, and journey maps, creating detailed design documentation and prototypes for development handoff
- Contribute to improving our design standards and processes to further enhance our web design practices

**What you’ll bring**:

- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communications, a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 4+ years in web design with a strong portfolio highlighting expertise in web branding, visual design, and UI elements, with experience in a B2B environment
- Keen eye for design details, typography, color, and spacing, ensuring pixel-perfect designs
- Bonus: Familiarity with motion graphics and the ability to create interactive prototypes is a plus

**What success looks like**:
After six months, you will
- Created dozens of page templates using both existing and new web components that you’ve designed
- Improved the Web Style Guide/design system/component library, ensuring it is accurate and referenceable by content, web developers and other design teams
- Drive value-centered design lifecycle, prototyping, and testing

After about a year, you will
- Broaden the scope of work you do within the demand gen team to include other digital initiatives beyond core website design
- Establish yourself as an invaluable member of the digital marketing team, contributing to overall strategy and success
