**Job Designation**: Production Supervisor (Furniture Segment)**

**Production Planning**: Coordinate with production planning team to schedule production orders, allocate resources, and prioritize tasks to meet delivery deadlines.

**Team Leadership**: Lead, motivate, and supervise production staff to achieve performance targets and maintain a positive work environment.

**Quality Control**: Monitor product quality throughout the production process, conduct inspections, and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure adherence to quality standards.

**Safety Compliance**: Enforce safety policies and procedures, conduct regular safety inspections, and promote a culture of safety awareness among production staff.

**Process Improvement**: Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement, and implement appropriate measures to enhance productivity.

**Inventory Management**: Supervise inventory levels, monitor raw material usage, and coordinate with procurement team to ensure adequate stock levels for production activities.

**Training and Development**: Provide training and development opportunities for production staff to enhance skills, improve performance, and foster career advancement.

**Reporting**: Generate production reports, analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular updates to management on production progress, issues, and recommendations.

**Job Specification**:
Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or related field preferred.

Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a supervisory role within the furniture manufacturing industry.

Previous working experience as an operator.

Experience in using Metal Bending, Laser cutting machines.

Programming experience and fabrication, powder coating process knowledge

Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse production team.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
