**What you will do**:

In this vital role you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Plan to Stock solutions (PP/DS, Supply planning, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality, Material/Inventory Management and Batch management) across all the Amgen manufacturing and distribution sites. This role focuses on leveraging SAP technologies to streamline and improve Plan to Stock processes, ensuring alignment with business needs and industry standard processes. As an SAP Solution architect, you will work closely with operations IT and business customers to gain requirements, design, and configure solutions, and provide post-implementation support. This position requires deep expertise in SAP MM, IM, PP and QM modules with a demonstrable understanding of PP/DS and WM/EWM functionalities.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Design, configuration, and optimization of Plan to Stock (Plant setup, MRP, PP/DS, Direct Procurement, Sub-contracting, Manufacturing, Quality, Inventory Management and Batch management) process in SAP S/4
- Ensure flawless integration between SAP S/4 modules MM, FI, PP, TM, ATTP, GTS, EAS, Ariba, and EWM) as well as non-SAP systems for planning, quality and manufacturing systems like Kinaxis, MES and LIMS.
- Conduct architectural reviews and assessments to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Coordinate creation and maintenance of critical documentation such as functional designs, test cases, and user manuals. Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards and regulations.
- Participate in ERP implementation projects, including blueprinting, gap analysis, testing, launch, and post-production support.
- Lead/Coordinate and mentor other architects and team members to ensure the effective execution of the projects and services
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to deliver and sustain Amgen's S/4HANA ecosystem using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Develop innovative solutions that drive speed to value via AI/ML and leading control practices

**Basic Qualifications**:
Doctorate degree and 2 years of SAP implementation experience in SAP MM, PP-PI and QM modules

Master’s degree and 8 to 10 years of SAP implementation experience in SAP MM, PP-PI and QM modules experience OR

Bachelor’s degree and 10 to 14 years of SAP implementation experience in SAP MM, PP-PI and QM modules experience OR

Diploma and 14 to 18 years of SAP implementation experience in SAP MM, PP-PI and QM modules

**Preferred Qualifications**:
**Must-Have Skills**:

- Strong hands-on experience configuring and customizing SAP S/4 MM, PP, QM, IM, MRP and PPDS process
- Good understanding of Inter and Intra company stock transfers, contract manufacturing process and Integrating SAP with Manufacturing execution systems.
- Ability to craft and implement solutions based on business requirements, including debugging and root cause analysis.
- Experience in crafting detailed documentation, including functional specifications, test cases, and compliance reports.

**Good-to-Have Skills**:

- Knowledge of SAP S/4 Inbound logistics and warehouse management process, Transportation management.
- Experience with integrating SAP with Ariba supplier collaboration, IBP or Kinaxis supply and demand planning system and PLM system.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies for software delivery and process improvement.

**Professional Certifications**:

- SAP Certified Application Associate in SAP S/4 Hana Material Management and SAP S/4 production Planning (preferred)
- Agile Certified Practitioner (preferred)
