**English and EAL Teacher**

***The Academy seeks a well-qualified, caring, and inspiring lead teacher for our junior school English classes and to support young English language learners for Grades 1 to 6, ideally with experience of teaching the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP). This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a dynamic environment as part of an established Learning Enrichment team.

Teachers at the Aga Khan Academy are expected to:
1. Be committed to the vision of the Academy and our distinct educational philosophy.

2. Be enthusiastically involved in the Academy’s Enrichment Programme.

3. Play an active role in the residential life of a thriving school community which values and celebrates the diversity of its staff and students.

**Required**:

- A good first degree in a relevant field.
- CELTA trained or similar EAL training.
- Experience of working successfully in a multi-cultural environment.
