**Job Title**: Dietician/Nutritionist

**Job Summary**: We are seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Dietician to provide nutritional counseling, develop individualized meal plans, and promote healthy dietary habits among our clients. The Dietician will work with patients to create tailored nutrition programs that align with medical needs and personal goals to improve overall well-being.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assess patients’ nutritional needs through thorough analysis of medical histories, current health status, and lifestyle.
- Develop personalized meal plans and diet strategies that meet individual health requirements, preferences, and dietary restrictions.
- Educate clients on proper nutrition and healthy eating habits to support disease prevention, weight management, and overall wellness.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to align dietary plans with medical treatment plans.
- Monitor patients’ progress, document changes, and adjust nutritional programs as needed.
- Conduct group workshops and presentations on nutrition topics to promote community health.
- Stay current with the latest research and trends in dietetics and nutrition.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal nutrition guidelines and standards.
- Manage and maintain accurate patient records.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
- Registered Dietician (RD) or Licensed Dietitian (LD) certification, as required by state regulations.
- Proven experience working in clinical or community settings as a dietitian.
- Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and current dietary guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to create individualized nutrition plans.
- Proficiency in nutrition-related software and basic computer skills.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with dietary counseling for specific conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, or obesity.
- Public speaking experience for conducting workshops or group sessions.
- Ability to manage multiple clients effectively.

**Work Environment**:

- The position may be located in hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, wellness centers, or private practice.
- Occasional travel may be required for home visits or community health events.

**Compensation**:

- Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
