**Marine Superintendent - Roles and Responsibilities**

1. Managed fleet operations from a shore-based position, ensuring vessels operated efficiently and complied with company and regulatory standards.

2. Implemented and monitored cost control measures to optimize operational expenditure for vessel maintenance and repairs.

3. Ensured all vessels complied with international maritime regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code) and company safety standards.

4. Coordinated with project managers and superintendents to develop and execute maintenance and operational plans for vessels under management.

5. Provided technical support to vessels, assisting with troubleshooting and resolving issues as instructed by the vessel's captain.

6. Supervised the procurement and timely delivery of spare parts, ensuring parts were installed and maintained according to the vessel’s needs.

7. Compiled and submitted daily and weekly reports on maintenance activities, vessel performance, and incidents to senior management.

8. Collaborated with the housekeeping department to ensure the vessel met required hygiene standards, contributing to the overall operational health of the fleet.

9. Assisted with the coordination of vessel loading and unloading operations, ensuring proper cargo handling procedures were followed.

10. Managed task delegation to the vessel crew, ensuring that operations were completed on time and in compliance with set guidelines.

11. Trained and mentored new personnel on vessel operational processes, ensuring smooth transitions and effective team integration.

12. Specialized in engine maintenance, installation, inspection, and repair, ensuring vessels adhered to the highest technical standards.

13. Maintained vessel operational performance, despite budget limitations, by implementing efficient use of available resources and cost-saving measures.

14. Advised senior management on budgetary decisions and operational strategies, providing recommendations for improving efficiency and reducing costs.

15. Consistently received high performance evaluations, particularly for excellence in safety management and maintaining high operational standards.

16. Administered daily operational activities, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and overseeing program enforcement.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
