Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with game designers, art directors, and other team members to develop and refine the visual style, themes, and overall aesthetic of our games.
- Create concept art for characters, including sketches, illustrations, and digital paintings that depict their appearance, personality, and characteristics.
- Design environments, landscapes, architecture, and settings for the game world, establishing mood, atmosphere, and visual identity through concept art.
- Develop props, objects, and items that populate the game world, ensuring they are visually appealing, functional, and consistent with the overall art style.
- Storyboard key scenes, cutscenes, and cinematic sequences within the game, visualizing gameplay, narrative beats, and character interactions.
- Collaborate with art directors and lead artists to establish style guides and art direction for the project, defining color palettes, visual motifs, and artistic techniques.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders, playtesters, and the development team, making adjustments to improve clarity, readability, and overall quality.
- Communicate effectively with other departments within the development team, including game designers, 3D modelers, animators, and programmers, to ensure alignment and integration of artwork.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and best practices in concept art and video game development, incorporating new ideas and technologies into our projects.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment, sharing ideas, providing feedback, and supporting the creative vision of the team.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Illustration, Animation, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in character design, environment design, and concept art for video games or related media.
- Proficiency in digital art software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Procreate, or equivalent tools.
- Solid understanding of fundamental art principles, including anatomy, perspective, composition, color theory, and storytelling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and adapt to feedback and changes.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of visual aesthetics and creativity, able to generate original ideas and concepts that push the boundaries of visual storytelling.
- Experience with 3D modeling, animation, or game development tools such as Maya, Blender, Unity, or Unreal Engine is a plus.
- Passion for video games and a deep appreciation for their artistic and storytelling potential.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and adapt to the fast-paced nature of game development.
