**Job Summary**:
The Fabric Executive is responsible for managing all aspects related to fabric sourcing, selection, quality control, and procurement to ensure smooth production processes. The role requires a strong understanding of various fabric types, sampling, printing, embroidery, and market trends.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Fabric Knowledge & Sourcing**:

- Identify and source various types of fabrics as per company requirements.
- Develop relationships with suppliers, mills, and vendors for cost-effective fabric procurement.
- Stay updated on market trends, fabric innovations, and new material developments.
- **Fabric Sampling & Development**:

- Arrange and manage fabric sampling for new styles and developments.
- Work closely with design and merchandising teams to ensure appropriate fabric selection.
- Maintain a database of fabric swatches, specifications, and test reports.
- **Fabric Quality Control & Compliance**:

- Conduct fabric inspections and testing to ensure compliance with industry and buyer standards.
- Work with the quality team to resolve fabric quality issues.
- Monitor shrinkage, GSM, and color fastness for fabrics before bulk procurement.
- **Fabric Printing & Embroidery Coordination**:

- Coordinate with printing and embroidery units for fabric embellishment as per buyer requirements.
- Ensure quality control in fabric printing and embroidery processes.
- Handle approvals and strike-offs for printed and embroidered fabrics.
- **Inventory & Fabric Planning**:

- Maintain fabric inventory and ensure availability as per production schedules.
- Plan fabric allocations and work with production teams to avoid shortages or excess stock.

**Key Skills & Competencies**:

- Experience in fabric sourcing, development, and vendor management.
- Understanding of fabric printing, embroidery, and dyeing processes.
- Knowledge of fabric testing parameters and quality standards.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems related to fabric management.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Textile Engineering, Fashion Technology, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in fabric sourcing, quality control, or têxtile production.
- Prior experience in a garment manufacturing/export company is preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
