Qualification: Knowledge of ITA software or Diploma in ITA

Reservations and Ticketing: - Reservation & Ticketing Agent/Executive: These professionals handle the core functions of flight booking, including making reservations, issuing tickets, managing cancellations and changes, and providing flight information. - Ticketing Manager: Responsible for overseeing the ticketing process, managing a team of ticketing agents, and ensuring efficient and accurate ticket handling. - Airline Ticketing Executive/Analyst: This role may involve analyzing flight inventory, managing pricing, and optimizing ticket sales for airlines. 2. Travel Consulting and Sales: - Travel Consultant: These professionals provide advice and guidance to customers on travel options, including flights, hotels, and other travel arrangements. - Airline Ticketing Sales: This role focuses on selling airline tickets, often through direct sales or through partnerships with travel agencies. - Travel Desk Executive: These roles handle travel arrangements for a specific company or organization, including booking flights and other travel needs for employees. Key Skills for Air Ticket Jobs: - GDS (Global Distribution System) proficiency: Familiarity with systems like Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre is often required. - Ticketing and Reservation skills: Knowledge of booking procedures, fare calculations, and ticket issuance. - Customer service skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with customers. - Travel industry knowledge: Understanding of travel regulations, destinations, and various travel products. - Sales and negotiation skills: Important for travel consultants and sales roles.
