**Accounts Associate (Remote)**
- Full time, India_

We are looking for an Accounts Associate who will work closely with the Senior Accountants. The primary goals are to prepare Operational and Quality statistical reports, resolve the differences, and assist with the input of data in the movement schedules in SAP BPC. You will also be responsible for preparing certain account reconciliations, as well as supporting upper management in various ad-hoc reporting.

**As an Accounts Associate, you will**
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant financial information
- Perform audits on financial data to ensure its accuracy and truthfulness
- Ensure that financial information complies with professional and regulatory standards
- Align general ledger accounting practices to support budgeting and forecasting
- Enter financial data such as accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and interdepartmental entries into the ledger on a monthly basis, as well as preparing reports
- Perform account analysis to ensure that journal entries and balances are correct
- Reconcile accounts with the general ledger
- Gather supporting documentation and performing recordkeeping
- Keep abreast of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting

**About you**
- Bachelor's or associate's degree in accounting, or in a related specialization
- Proven experience in general ledger accounting
- Proficiency in accounting software SAP ERP
- Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations, and the ability to improve the knowledge as required
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Good knowledge of English
