Job Title: Account Associate

About This Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic accounting team as an Account Associate. In this role, you will support the accounts team in clearing pending backlog work and assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clear and streamline accounting backlogs (data entry, reconciliations, adjustments).
  • Support the accounts team in recording purchase, sales, expense, and journal entries in Tally Prime.
  • Help with bank reconciliations and cross-checking ledger balances.
  • Assist with GST, TDS, and compliance documentation.
  • Maintain proper filing and organization of invoices, challans, and vouchers.
  • Prepare and update supporting schedules as directed by senior accountants.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the accounts team for ongoing work.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Familiarity with Tally Prime.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets.
  • Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines.
