Machine Technician Trainee should judge themselves against these standards and should seek at the earliest opportunity to clarify what specific figures they should be targeting for all the general areas below. Machine Technician who adhere to these criteria will meet the standard expected:
**Behavioral**
- Follow the Associate Concept
- Behave and act in accordance with the Five Principles

**Output**
- Run machines to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
- Escalate issues, which prevent achievement of Standard Operating condition’s and/or Schedule.
- Support in ensuring changeovers are completed within specified time to the right standard in accordance with Operating Procedures for their respective workstation.

**Costs**
- Operate work station to minimize product and packaging wastage.
- Know the target standards for the machine which he/she is operating.

**Quality**
- Ensure all activities that demonstrate due diligence are carried out
- Carry out all the area cleaning by using the House keeping teams
- Under go basic Food Safety training
- Monitor & maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Process Prerequisite Programmes (PRP’s)
- Monitor the Critical Control Points (CCP’s) as per define frequency
- Maintain accuracy of operational records
- ** Safety**:

- Perform all the activities in the area as per Mars Global Safety standard ex -Lock out Tag Out (LOTO), working at height, Safety Standard Work Instructions (SSW) etc.
- Carry out the Safety interlock inspections in areas as per the schedule and immediate escalation in case of any failure.
- Carry out the regular toolbox talks with the contractors on the safe practices.
- Understand own tasks and perform them as per given standards
