We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of **AVP Programme & Project Services**

Compliance Transformation (CT) ensures effective and efficient definition, planning, management and execution of global change programmes related to financial crime risk, supporting the business teams and HSBC to meet its regulatory commitments. Financial crime risk covers key areas such as money laundering, sanctions and anti-bribery and corruption.
**Department Overview**
The Programme and Project Services Analyst provides support to a Project Manager, Programme Manager, Senior Programme and Project Services Manager or leads the Project Management Office (PMO) of a Project. This role provides assistance to the Programme/Project Manager to successfully deliver the programme from definition to closure. They will act as a source of guidance, governance and metrics on projects supporting the Project/Programme Manager for strategic decisions. They are responsible for following the Business Transformation Framework (BTF), using standard project management tools such as Clarity and working closely with their colleagues in Transformation Team
**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Demonstrates working knowledge of Programme/Project Management Framework, supporting the creation of detailed plans including key activities and milestones
- Establishes and updates quality procedures, manages internal ad-hoc quality audits, reports quality variance and suggests corrective actions; seeks opportunity to improve quality procedures
- Supports the Programme/Project Manager and Business representatives in defining required scope, quality, cost and effort
- Tracks progress against the plan, looking ahead and removing roadblocks to delivery; asks questions when they do not understand, takes ownership of problems and timely escalates when needed
- Manages change requests ensuring impact assessed for scope, time, budget, effort and quality; provides the sustainable value to the organisation by contributing to the efficiency improvement in programme/project
- Has good knowledge of risks/ issues/dependencies management techniques; Supports programme/project manager in identifying new risks/ issues/dependencies; Tracks risks/ issues/dependencies through appropriate tracking tools, involving key stakeholders/members of the programme/project team as appropriate.
- plays active role in development and monitoring of a well-defined project/programme plan, identifying the key milestones and engaging with stakeholders to assign roles/tasks responsibilities. Works closely with stakeholders to develop Programme/ project key documents (such as plan, roadmap, etc.)
- Actively engages in programme / project resource management
- Maintains accurate financial information for multiple programmes/projects; analyses financial data for single project / programme
- Ensures quality reporting; share ideas on implementing new quality standards and quality tools
- Supervises and leads the programme/project to ensure that the goal is achieved
Requirements
- Graduate/ Postgraduate
- Experience should be 9-11 yrs.
- Understanding of the project lifecycle and ‘change’ methodologies
- Understanding of Global Transformation Business Transformation Frameworks, methodologies, and best practice techniques
- Understanding of the purpose, value, culture, and fundamentals of Global Transformation
- Good understanding of HSBC Group strategy, objectives, structure, values, behaviours, and processes
- Successfully and independently handled PMO activities for large scale programmes and/ or portfolios
- Good appreciation and experience of aligning to financial governance (including billing and recharge models) framework
- Must have experience in PMO role, Project management, PMO governance
- Prior experience of working in Agile environment is an advantage
- PPM tools like Clarity, Jira etc is good to have
- Knowledge of analysing large volumes of data and mapping of processes
- Strong communication skills with ability to interact and manage key stakeholder conversations
**Qualifications and Accreditations**
- P3O training or certification - Preferred
- PMP training or certification - Desirable
- MSP training or certification - Desirable
- Prince2 Foundation & Practitioner - Optional
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) - Optional
