Roles and Responsibilities

**1.** Facilitates user departments obtaining new computer systems or modifications to existing systems by understanding the functions of the user department and analyzing current processing and procedures, advising them on appropriate alternatives to meet their computing needs and assisting them in the preparation of associated requests.

**2.** Oversees automation of academic and administrative tasks by designing computer information systems which effectively perform those tasks.

**3.** Ensures the success of new management information systems by coordinating the implementation of all new systems introduced on campus.

**4.** Effectively resolves complex programming problems by conducting a thorough analysis of the problems and employing strategies for resolution.

**5**. Promotes the uniformity of the programming effort by contributing to and adhering to the Computer Services departmental standards and guidelines.

**6.** Promotes the professional development and training of systems analysts by participating in design reviews of new computing systems.

**7.** Ensures the availability of computer resources by managing recovery from data loss caused by events like power outages, hardware failures, etc.

**8.** Coordinates the administration, maintenance, and training associated with the mainframe database management system.

**Key Job Responsibilities**:
(1) Maintain all project-related data on the state Project MIS portal;
(2) Assisting in the development of the MIS portal / Dashboard for the HIMW project.

(3) Ensure 100% HHs entry in the MIS software.

(4) Develop systems and norms for data collection from the field and ensure regular data collection and entry in the portal;
(5) MIS Coordinator shall work in close coordination with the MIS Expert of the SPMU established for anchoring the project;
(6) MIS experts will take the lead in conducting training of other project staffs on M&E tools and on data management systems in the project.

**Salary**: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
