**Job Title**: Welder

**Job Summary**: A welder is responsible for using welding techniques to join metals, cut and shape metal components, and perform various welding-related tasks to ensure the quality and integrity of metal structures.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Welding**: Perform various types of welding processes, such as arc welding, MIG welding, TIG welding, and oxyacetylene welding, to join metal components according to specifications.
- **Blueprint Interpretation**: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand the requirements for the welding project.
- **Material Preparation**: Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, grinding, or cutting to ensure proper welding and adherence to quality standards.
- **Equipment Setup**: Set up and operate welding equipment, including welding machines, torches, and other tools, ensuring proper safety measures and adherence to industry standards.
- **Quality Control**: Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, making necessary adjustments and corrections as needed.
- **Safety Compliance**: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow proper safety procedures.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with other team members, such as fabricators, engineers, and supervisors, to coordinate and complete welding projects efficiently.
- **Repair and Maintenance**: Conduct repairs on metal structures and components, identifying and addressing any defects or issues. Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of welding projects, including materials used, time spent, and any issues encountered. Provide documentation as required by supervisors or quality control processes.
- **Continuous Learning**: Stay informed about new welding techniques, materials, and equipment. Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in welding from a recognized vocational or technical school.
- Proven experience as a welder, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficient in various welding techniques and processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Physical fitness and stamina for prolonged periods of standing and manual labor.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and the proper use of personal protective equipment.

**Salary**: ₹28,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
