Architect

We are seeking a team member that are creative, reliable, task-oriented, organized, passionate, and have great attention to detail. The Architect should be a creative and innovative person to join our team and contribute to our projects from the initial client briefing right through to the final stages of construction. Your role will involve direct client collaboration, the development and presentation of design proposals, preparing drawings, specifications, confirming budgets, developing construction documentation and managing project teams.

- Develop architectural design from given design concept through to final design documentation.
- Review site conditions and constraints.
- Source out and select all materials and suppliers.
- Coordinate architectural design with other consultants including engineers.
- Coordinate with the CAD team to provide sufficient details for the production of working drawings.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Manage design projects from concept development through to completion
- Use the construction “brief” to identify clients’ needs and put together feasibility reports and design proposals
- Develop architecture in line with client’s needs, building’s usage and environmental impact
- Produce detailed drawings, blueprints, specifications and construction documents
- Coordinate with designers in order to produce thorough and quality documentation
- Assist designers to develop details and cross check with other relevant documents such as M/E, structural architecture
- Coordinate interior design with other consultants including engineer and architects
- Support the CAD team including programming of CAD resources
- Prepare CAD drawings including all necessary information required for design and documentation drawing sets whilst maintaining and practicing good CAD standards
- Arrange drawings using standard layering and object description based on the Something design house design manual
- Compile project specifications and keep within budgets and timelines
- Ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulations
- Update and maintain files according to the Something design house filing system
- Coordinate with the IT team to update the design database which includes 3D presentation images, AutoCAD Library, photographs and products etc.
- Ensure that the Quality Management System is implemented and maintained and to evaluate where continual improvement can be made
- Provide excellence in client service at all times and show initiative in assisting clients
- Assist with the development of reports for clients
- Source out and select materials and suppliers
- Ensure product and service knowledge is maintained at a high competent level
- Make on site visits to check on project status and report on project
- Review site condition and constraints
- Cooperate and liaise with construction professionals
- Follow architectural trends and advancements
- Comply with safety standards and local planning regulations
- Manage project teams and collaborate with construction and design professionals
- Carry out research with regards to various projects as well as identifying opportunities
- Ensure confidentiality for all project information, data and correspondence
- Ensure project information is accurate and completed as per procedure
- Attend and participate in project meetings, training sessions and seminars
- Demonstrate teamwork and integrate with all team members
- Assist with additional duties as required and follow directions by Senior Management

**Qualifications**:
1. Bachelor of Architecture

2. Minimum 2-10 years experience

**Knowledge/ Skills and Abilities**:
1. Good communication skills and interpersonal skills

2. Ability to carry out design and documentation
