We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hydro-Mechanical Manager to lead our HM team in the execution of hydro power projects. The Hydro-Mechanical Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hydro-mechanical engineering and project management, including design, fabrication, erection commissioning, estimation, department correspondence, technical document making and project management with various departments. This role requires strong technical expertise in hydro-mechanical works of hydropower projects, as well as exceptional leadership and project management skills to ensure successful project delivery.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Hydro-Mechanical Engineering**:

- Lead the design and engineering of hydro-mechanical systems for hydropower projects, including penstocks, gates, and related components.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, and project specifications throughout the design process.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to the engineering team, resolving complex engineering challenges as they arise.
- **Bill of Material (BOM) Development**:

- Oversee the creation of detailed bills of materials (BOM) for hydro-mechanical works for new tenders, working closely with engineers and procurement specialists.
- Optimize material procurement and sourcing strategies to maximize cost-effectiveness and project efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of BOM revisions, updates, and supplier information.

3. **Departmental Correspondence**:
1.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients for all hydro-mechanical engineering projects.

2. Communicate regularly with clients to provide project updates, address concerns, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Prepare and review departmental correspondence including project status reports, meeting minutes, and technical documentation.

4. **Estimation and Cost Management**:

- Lead the estimation process for hydro-mechanical engineering projects, providing accurate cost estimates based on project requirements and scope.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to identify material and labor requirements.
- Collaborate with the estimating team to develop comprehensive cost estimates and proposals for client review and approval.

5. **Preparation of Fabrication Plans**:

- Develop fabrication plans for hydro-mechanical components in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Coordinate with fabrication vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of materials and components.
- Review fabrication plans to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards.

6. **Preparation of** **Erection Methodologies**:

- Work closely with clients to understand their specific requirements for erection methodologies related to hydro-mechanical components.
- Develop detailed erection methodologies based on project specifications, site conditions, and safety standards and ensure same is executed by site team.
- Review and refine erection methodologies in collaboration with engineering and construction teams to optimize efficiency and ensure compliance with client expectations.
- Develop and implement fabrication and erection methodologies for hydro-mechanical components, considering site conditions, safety requirements, and project schedules.
- Collaborate with fabrication vendors and construction teams to ensure that fabrication and erection activities are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to monitor progress and identify potential issues proactively.

**7. Project Management and Execution**:

- Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution for hydro power projects, overseeing all hydro-mechanical aspects from concept to commissioning.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors at Govt. Departments, to ensure seamless project integration and delivery.
- Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and resource allocation, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Communicate project status, milestones, and risks to stakeholders through regular progress reports and meetings.

**8. Risk Management and Compliance**:

- Identify and mitigate project risks related to hydro-mechanical engineering, fabrication, and installation activities.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, implementing best practices to minimize risk and ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain documentation and records related to project approvals, permits, and certifications.
