**Job Purpose**

This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and extensive experience in supply chain management, warehousing, logistics, and material handling. By ensuring the efficient and effective management of warehousing, logistics, and material handling, the person will play a crucial role in enhancing the company's supply chain performance, reducing costs, and improving customer satisfaction.

**Key Result Areas/Accountabilities**
- Develop short term & long-term strategy for Warehousing of VIL to drive business synergy with focus on consolidation, space optimization and effective inventory management
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of warehousing and logistics operations
- Finalization of Management Charges for Capex and Opex 3PL warehousing agencies
- Responsible for finalization of Third Party Logistics partners including selection, SLAs and KPIs and performance monitoring.
- Finalization of rates, contracts with pan India logistics partners and facilitate effective implementation at Circles.
- Consolidation of partners to drive efficiency in terms of operational efficiency and cost effectiveness
- Coordinate with logistics providers to resolve any issues related to transportation and delivery.
- Overall governance and monitoring of Logistics cost optimization, partners performances and circle performance in transportation and logistics area
- Implement and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accurate and efficient inventory management.
- Develop and enforce procedures for proper handling, storage, and tracking of materials.

**Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience**
- Strong professional background in SCM, Warehousing and Logistics
- Experience of working in SCM, Warehousing or Logistics is mandatory
- Expertise in driving SCM processes governance and effective compliance

Ability to drive teams and people for improvement

**Must have technical / professional qualifications**

Graduate (Any stream)

MBA (preferred)
