The job duties of an EDM or electrical discharge machine operator include the setup and programming of EDM equipment to ensure proper functionality when making precision parts for tool-makers and designers. As an EDM operator, you may work with multiple e-EDM machines or sinker EDM machining solutions.
- Set up and switch jobs as required
- Perform tasks efficiently and within standard time allotment
- Keep track of materials in the area’
- Minor maintenance of the machine
- Maintain an excellent attendance record
- Verify all parts are conforming before signing off on the traveler
- Keep track of all scrap and seek corrective actions when necessary
- Run and maintain the function of 2+ machines in a cell
- Maintain all inspection gauges and tooling as required
- Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required
- Function effectively within a team environment
- Adhere to AS9100 and other quality standards

**Preferable Experience**:

- 1-2 years’ experience in conventional machining such as milling, drilling, and turning
- Previous relevant machining experience or education/training in machining.

**Salary**: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
