Powder Coating Operator

**Job Summary**:
The Powder Coating Operator is responsible for producing high-quality, defect-free coated parts in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. The role involves operating coating equipment, ensuring accurate material mixing, maintaining cleanliness and safety of the work area, and supporting continuous improvement efforts.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Daily Work Execution**:

- Receive and follow daily work plans.
- Record production activities accurately.
- **Coating Process Management**:

- Ensure correct powder and paint mixing ratios.
- Set and monitor spray gun parameters as per specifications.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Minimize defects, rework, and rejections.
- Adhere to inspection standards and quality requirements.
- **Equipment & Workplace Maintenance**:

- Maintain cleanliness of machines and tools.
- Follow safety and 5S protocols.
- **Issue Reporting**:

- Report any part damage or equipment issues immediately.
- Ensure spare parts are managed based on criticality.
- **Production Targets**:

- Achieve production targets within the defined timelines.
- Contribute to on-time delivery performance.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Participate in improvement initiatives and suggest enhancements for daily operations.

**Key Coordination**:

- **Internal**: Supervisor, Technician, Team Members, HOD
- **Reporting**: Daily Production Reports, Final Inspection Reports, Breakage Reports, Evaluation Reports

**Required Skills & Attributes**:

- Basic knowledge of powder coating equipment and process.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
- Familiarity with safety and 5S practices.
