**Job Description: Production Department Associate/Executive**

**Position**: Production Department Associate / Executive
**Location**: Mysore
**Experience**: 3 to 12 years in API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients)
**Qualification**: B.Tech/BE in Chemical Engineering, M.Sc., or Diploma in Chemical Engineering

**Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Production Operations**: Manage and oversee day-to-day API production operations, ensuring that production targets, quality standards, and timelines are met.
- **Process Optimization**: Continuously monitor and improve production processes for efficiency, productivity, and safety.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure that the production processes comply with quality control standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular checks to maintain product quality and consistency.
- **Team Supervision**: Supervise production staff and assist in training, ensuring that all team members follow the standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
- **Maintenance Coordination**: Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure that production equipment and machinery are functioning optimally and undergo routine maintenance.
- **Safety and Compliance**: Ensure compliance with all safety standards and environmental regulations. Identify and resolve any safety hazards or non-compliance issues within the production environment.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 3 to 12 years of experience in API production or a similar manufacturing environment within the pharmaceutical industry.
- **Technical Knowledge**: In-depth knowledge of chemical engineering principles, API production processes, and manufacturing techniques.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Ability to identify issues in the production process and implement effective solutions promptly.
- **Team Leadership**: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage, train, and motivate the production team.
