**Position Title**: Restaurant Server
**Job Summary**: A Restaurant Server is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests in a restaurant setting. They take orders, serve food and beverages, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain a clean and organized dining area. The role requires excellent communication, multitasking, and interpersonal skills to ensure a positive dining experience.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Customer Service**:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and drink orders from guests, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Provide information about the menu, specials, and promotions.
- Answer any questions regarding menu items, ingredients, or preparation methods.
- Address and resolve any customer concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- **Order Taking and Serving**:
- Relay orders to the kitchen or bar staff accurately and clearly.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction with their meals and beverages.
- Refill drinks, clear empty plates, and provide additional condiments as needed.
- **Food Safety and Cleanliness**:
- Ensure that all food is presented in an aesthetically pleasing manner and meets quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, and dining areas throughout the shift.
- Follow proper sanitation procedures for handling food and beverages.
- Assist with clearing and resetting tables for the next guests.
- **Payment and Checkout**:
- Present bills to guests, accurately itemizing charges, and accept payment (cash, credit, or digital payments).
- Provide change or receipts as necessary and thank guests for their visit.
- Close out customer checks and process payments through the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- **Team Collaboration**:
- Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to ensure efficient service.
- Help colleagues during busy times by supporting them with tasks like refilling drinks, clearing plates, and running food.
- Assist with restocking supplies and organizing storage areas when necessary.
- **Upselling**:
- Suggest additional menu items, drinks, or desserts to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Promote any ongoing promotions or special offers.
- **Other Duties**:
- Attend team meetings or training sessions as required.
- Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up the dining area or cleaning the space after closing.
- Assist with special events, banquets, or parties when applicable.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Previous experience in a food service role (preferred but not required).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to work under pressure.
- Attention to detail and a customer-oriented attitude.
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
**Physical Requirements**:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds (plates, trays, etc.).
- Must be able to move quickly and efficiently in a busy environment.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
