Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct Performance risk assessment and suggest the type and level NFT required
2. Participate in design and architecture reviews
3. Identify and recommend performance testing tools to be used to meet client requirements
5. Identify Performance testing objectives and define Performance Test requirements by working with key business and IT users and project stakeholders
6. Identify and receive approval for Performance Test conditions by working with key business and IT users and project stakeholders
7. Create/Review Performance Test scripts that are robust and maintainable
8. Should be able to provide performance test strategy for batch and online transactions
9. Understand and communicate the differences between load, stress, endurance, spike, scalability and capacity testing and have the ability to plan and conduct each of these types of performance testing.
10. Conduct various performance tests and schedule timeframes with key business and IT resources to monitor, witness and support the performance test analysis
12. Coordinate with Core Application Development, Business Unit, Database, Middleware, and Operations teams to identify performance improvement areas, and promote resolution of issues as a result of the testing process.
13. Should have strong understanding about cloud, DevOps, mobile, middleware and message based systems
14. Able to guide and mentor junior team members
Experience and Skill Sets Requirements:
1. 6 to 9 years of working knowledge and implementations of at least 3 performance testing tool sets like MicroFocus Performance Center or LoadRunner, IBM Rational Performance Tester, Tricentis NeoLoad, Apache JMeter, Gatling or comparable packaged or open-source performance testing tools
2. Must have knowledge of SAP and Neolaod tool
3. Minimum 5 years of working knowledge in APM tools such as App Dynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk, NewRelic or comparable packaged or open-source performance monitoring tools
4. Should be able to write custom code in load test scripts using programming languages such as C, java, Python.
5. Should have good hands on in SQL and must be familiar with leading databases.
