**Responsibilities**:

- **Dispensing medications**:Hospital pharmacists dispense prescription medications and sterile drugs, such as injections, eye drops, and intravenous fluids
- **Advising patients**: Hospital pharmacists provide information to patients about their medications and how to use them
- **Advising healthcare providers**:Hospital pharmacists advise physicians and other healthcare workers on the selection, dosage, and side effects of medications
- **Managing medications**:Hospital pharmacists make sure medications are stored properly and given out correctly
- **Compounding medications**: Hospital pharmacists mix, combine, or alter ingredients to create medications for individual patients
- **Participating in clinical rounds**: Hospital pharmacists participate in ward rounds to take patient drug histories and ensure safe and effective medication use
- **Researching and developing**: Hospital pharmacists keep up to date with research and development, and contribute to it
- **Writing guidelines**: Hospital pharmacists write guidelines for drug use within the hospital and implement hospital regulations

Hospital pharmacists work closely with healthcare providers in a variety of medical settings, including hospitals, health centers, clinics, nursing homes, and GP surgeries.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
