**Job Summary**:
The Hospital Pharmacist is responsible for preparing, dispensing, and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for patients. The role involves working closely with medical and nursing staff to ensure optimal drug therapy outcomes and compliance with regulatory standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Dispensing & Medication Management**:

- Dispense prescriptions accurately and in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.
- Review prescriptions to ensure dosage, drug interactions, and patient safety.
- Counsel patients on the correct use of their medications.
- **Inventory & Procurement**:

- Manage inventory levels of drugs and medical supplies.
- Monitor stock for expiry and maintain records for audits.
- Coordinate with suppliers and ensure timely replenishment of essential medicines.
- **Clinical Duties**:

- Advise doctors and nurses on drug selection, dosage, interactions, and side effects.
- Participate in clinical ward rounds and provide pharmaceutical care where necessary.
- Monitor patient progress and report adverse drug reactions (ADRs).
- **Regulatory Compliance & Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of all pharmacy transactions.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, government regulations, and quality standards.
- Prepare reports for audits and inspections.
- **Patient Education & Safety**:

- Educate patients about medication adherence and potential side effects.
- Promote rational use of medicines and contribute to antimicrobial stewardship programs.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- **Education**: B.Pharm or D.Pharm (M.Pharm preferred); must be registered with the State Pharmacy Council.
- **Experience**: 1-3 years of hospital or clinical pharmacy experience preferred

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and therapeutic guidelines.
- Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with hospital management systems and pharmacy software is a plus.

**Working Conditions**:

- Rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Fast-paced hospital environment requiring high attention to detail.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
