**Job description**

Voice over artists is responsible for creating voice-overs, which are audio recordings that are used in a variety of different ways. These recordings may be used as the soundtrack to an animated character or video, they may be used as part of a commercial or other piece of marketing content, or they may even be used as narration for a documentary or other piece of media.

Voice over artists must have a strong understanding of how to use their voice effectively. They need to know how to read from a script and how to deliver lines with emotion and clarity. This requires not only a good ear for pronunciation but also a solid knowledge of vocal technique.

**Voice-over Artist Required Skills**:

- A voice-over artist should be skilled enough to convey all emotions, through his/her voice and create a perfect sync with the visuals.
- To become a good voice-over artist, one should be a great voice modulator.
- They should possess consistency which is a highly valued skill here, such as consistent in volume, energy, pacing, articulation, and characterization in your eye-brain-mouth coordination.
- They are also required cold reading like long-form narration, particularly in the areas of E-learning modules.
- Other necessary essentials are clarity, consistency, conversational, coordination, characterization and convincing.

**Voice Over Artist Job Duties**:
Voice over artists have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

- Preparing for voiceover jobs by researching products or services that will be advertised or discussing topics that will be covered in a recording
- Overseeing the recording process to ensure that producers’ requests are followed and deadlines are met
- Providing a natural speaking style that is appropriate for the intended audience
- Explaining the purpose of a commercial, advertisement, or other type of recording to the client
- Recording audio using a variety of equipment and techniques, such as digital recorders or studio microphones
- Recording narration for film and television using scripts provided by writers or directors
- Editing audio files to remove extraneous noise or other flaws in the recording

**Salary**: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
