**Overview**: We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Yelahanka. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on work environment. The Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for various tasks including labeling, packing, unpacking, and moving materials within the warehouse.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Labeling**: Accurately label goods with appropriate identification and tracking information.
- **Packing**: Efficiently pack products to ensure they are prepared for shipping or storage without damage.
- **Unpacking**: Carefully unpack incoming goods, verify products against order forms, and report any discrepancies.
- **Materials Movement**: Safely transport materials within the warehouse using appropriate tools and vehicles (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts), ensuring that goods are positioned in the correct storage areas.
- **Inventory Management**: Assist in managing inventory by conducting physical counts and reporting any stock issues to the warehouse supervisor.
- **Quality Control**: Inspect goods for defects or damages, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- **Safety Compliance**: Adhere to all warehouse safety policies and procedures, including wearing protective clothing and equipment as required.
- **Housekeeping**: Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.

**Requirements**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in a warehouse role is beneficial but not required.
- **Skills**:

- Ability to read labels and packaging.
- Good organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management.
- Attention to detail.

**Personal Characteristics**:

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
