
Front Office Executive

1. Should greet all patients as they arrive into the facility and provide them with appropriate information.
2. Should have a good communication, interpersonal and management skill.
3. Should be very calm, composed and answer to patient’s quires with a warm smile.
4. Should be aware of the procedures for handling fire alarm and other emergency procedures.
5. Should answer telephone calls and guide them regarding medical procedures.
6. Should schedule, reschedule and cancel patient’s appointment as per their request.
7. Should give reminder calls for next visit and schedule as per their convenience and doctor’s availability.
8. Should collect patient information for registration process and record them in the database.
9. Should collect the required amount for the prescribed test and provide OP card, bill copy and guide them to the concerned ward.
10. Should provide information regarding master health checkup packages and special packages.
11. Should cross check with the appointments booked and provide details according to it.
12. Should guide patients according to the need if OP patients should send them to the OP ward and in case of IP or emergency should direct them to the respective wards.
13. Should collect patient’s record for doctor’s review if old or regular patient from MRD department.
14. Should direct calls and messages to appropriate departments and staff members.
15. Should manage filing and record keeping activities of the department.
16. Should manage inventories of office supplies.
17. Should coordinate with IP billing for insurance and non-insurance patients and inform patients to fill them accordingly.
18. Should guide patients to insurance coordinator if they have any quires related to insurance claim.
19. Should enquire doctor’s assistant for availability and book appointments accordingly.
20. Should take the patient’s demographic location and book appointments according to it. In case if they are from other geographic location should provide place in the waiting hall till their appointment time.
21. Should keep the department area clean, tidy and maintain good ambience.
22. Should attend all training programs and meetings conducted by the department.
23. Should maintain confidentiality of patient information without any compromise and in case of any discrepancy necessary action will be taken by the management.
24. Should follow the organization rules, regulations, policies and procedures strictly. In case of any discrepancy necessary actions will be taken by the management
25. Should strictly follow the leave policies and procedures.
Any other duties assigned by the management from time to time.
