**Job Summary**:
The Interior Designer is responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the interior design and décor of residential, commercial, or industrial spaces. The designer will collaborate with clients to understand their vision, budget, and functional needs, and translate that vision into practical and creative design solutions. The role involves preparing design proposals, selecting furniture, fabrics, lighting, and accessories, and managing the execution of the design project.

**Key Responsibilities**:1. Client Consultation & Design Brief**:

- Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget for the interior design project.
- Prepare a detailed design brief based on client requirements, functional needs, and aesthetic preferences.
- Present and discuss initial ideas and concepts with clients to ensure alignment on the vision for the space.

**2. Space Planning & Layout**:

- Develop functional layouts and space planning solutions for interiors to maximize usability and aesthetics.
- Create detailed drawings, plans, and 3D renderings of the proposed interior design concepts.
- Ensure optimal use of space, considering aspects such as traffic flow, lighting, and ergonomic considerations.

**3. Material & Product Selection**:

- Select appropriate materials, finishes, and furniture that match the client's design style and budget.
- Choose color schemes, fabrics, flooring, wallpaper, and window treatments to enhance the interior's look and feel.
- Research and source products, accessories, and artwork to complete the interior space design.

**4. Budget Management**:

- Prepare project budgets, keeping the client's financial constraints in mind while ensuring the quality of materials and furnishings.
- Manage the cost of the project by providing accurate estimates for materials, labor, and furnishings.
- Ensure that all purchases and expenses stay within the agreed-upon budget.

**5. Design Presentation**:

- Develop and present mood boards, sketches, CAD drawings, and 3D models to communicate design concepts clearly to clients.
- Revise designs based on client feedback and make necessary adjustments to meet their expectations.
- Ensure that all design elements are cohesive and align with the overall theme and purpose of the space.

**6. Project Coordination & Management**:

- Work closely with contractors, architects, electricians, plumbers, and other tradespeople to ensure seamless execution of the design.
- Oversee the installation of furniture, fixtures, and design elements according to the approved plans and specifications.
- Conduct site visits to ensure that construction and installation align with the design vision and quality standards.

**7. Compliance with Regulations**:

- Ensure that designs comply with safety regulations, building codes, and accessibility standards.
- Take into account environmental sustainability when selecting materials and designing layouts.

**8. Trend Research & Innovation**:

- Stay updated on current interior design trends, materials, and technologies.
- Incorporate innovative and sustainable design solutions in projects where applicable.
- Attend trade shows, design expos, and workshops to continuously update design knowledge.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- **Experience**: 2-5 years of experience as an Interior Designer in a residential, commercial, or hospitality design setting.
- **Design Skills**: Proficient in space planning, color theory, and material selection. Knowledge of both classical and contemporary design trends.
- **Technical Skills**: Strong skills in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3D Max, or similar programs for drafting and rendering.
- **Creativity**: Exceptional creativity and artistic sense, with the ability to think outside the box and bring new ideas to projects.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong eye for detail, especially in the selection of materials, finishes, and furnishings.
