**POLICY FOR STAFF APPRAISAL**
- For all levels of employees a yearly review of performance will be made
- The employee will be assessed by the organization as well as there will be a self-appraisal
- The Secretary in consultation with respective project heads will review the assessments
- In case of project heads, the yearly review will be done by the Secretary
- Any increment in salary and upgrading the employee to the next level will be strictly based on this performance review.

**SALARY**
- The salary will be paid by the 10th of every month. The date of payment may change due to unavoidable circumstances but attempt is made to strictly adhere to the payment being made by the 10th of every month
- If anyone is unable to collect his/her salary on the payment date, then it might be collected on a mutually convenient date.
- The salary will be paid through crossed A/C payee cheque, bank transfers or cash, as and where appropriate.

**INCREMENT OF SALARY**
- All employees are normally entitled to an yearly increment of 10%
- The final decision for increment of salary rests with the management of the organization

**LEAVE ENTITLEMENT**

The following types of leaves are available with the organization, besides the National & Festival Holidays. Any leave taken beyond this will be ‘Leave without Pay’. There may be exceptional circumstances and sanctioning of any special leaves in such situations is absolutely at the discretion of the management of the organization.
- Casual Leave - All employees of the organization are entitled to 12 days of casual leave in a year. This cannot exceed to more than 2 days in a row. Non-availed casual leave of a year cannot be carried over to the next year and cannot be considered for encashment.
- Sick Leave - All employees of the organization are entitled to 5 days of sick leave in a year. The employee needs to furnish medical certificate on resumption of work. Sick leave cannot be encashed.
- Compensatory Leave - All employees are entitled to compensatory leave in case of their working on Sundays or any other designated holidays. But this has to be duely approved by the immediate higher authority and needs to be taken on a date convenient to both parties
- Earn Leave - This leave only available for Admin Staffs. The Earn Leave is 14 days for one year. Employees have to give a pre-planned schedule for those leave for whole year. They can take the leave at a time or separately. Minimum 3 days Earn Leave should be pre-planned. In an emergency this leave can be changed and it should be approved by the Secretary/Director.

**TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT POLICY**

SSI believes in regular skills, knowledge and capacity building of its employees to enable them to deliver better in their work.
- Regular training programmes are organized for employees within the organization by hiring experts from different areas
- Employees are also sent to exposure trips to other projects

**SEPARATION AND FULL AND FINAL SETTLEMENT**

This is to ensure smooth separation and departure of the employee from the organization and holds for employees at all levels within the organization. An employee can be separated from the organization due to resignation, termination or death

**RESIGNATION**
- An employee resigning will have to give a month’s notice to the organization or in lieu of a month’s salary
- In case of the organization’s acceptance of the resignation letter, all final dues of the employee will be settled on his/her last day of attending the office
- The employee will sign documents mentioning receipt of full and final settlement from the organization

**TERMINATION**
- In case of an employee being terminated from the organization, the organization would serve a notice of a month to the employee or in lieu of an additional month’s salary
- All dues of the employee will be settled by the organization on the last day of the employees attending office
- The employee will sign documents mentioning receipt of full and final settlement from the organization
- The employee will be terminating on spot if there is any physical attack done to the students.
- The employee will be terminating on spot if any sexual harassment complaint comes against them.

**DEATH**
- In case of death of an employee, all his/her dues will be paid to family members

**Salary**: ₹21,224.73 - ₹40,000.00 per month
