**Reports To**:
Production Shift Supervisor

**Job Purpose**:
Supervise and manage the aluminum extrusion production process, ensuring efficient operations, high-quality output, and strict adherence to safety standards. Provide leadership to the production team and report directly to the Production Shift Supervisor.

**Key Responsibilities:1. Production Operations**:

- Oversee all activities on the aluminum extrusion production line to meet daily and monthly targets.
- Monitor machine performance, optimize process parameters, and troubleshoot to reduce downtime.
- Ensure efficient shift handovers and seamless transitions between production teams.

**2. Quality Control**:

- Inspect extruded profiles to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
- Identify and address defects, implementing corrective actions promptly.
- Maintain detailed quality control records and documentation.

**3. Equipment Management**:

- Supervise setup, operation, and maintenance of extrusion press equipment, dies, and tools.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for routine upkeep and addressing breakdowns.
- Ensure the availability of tools, dies, and other essential resources.

**4. Team Supervision**:

- Lead, train, and mentor machine operators and production staff.
- Assign tasks, ensuring effective workforce utilization.
- Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, and manage performance issues.

**5. Safety and Compliance**:

- Enforce adherence to workplace safety policies and industry standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address hazards promptly.
- Promote a culture of safety and provide relevant training to employees.

**6. Reporting and Coordination**:

- Track and report production metrics, challenges, and improvements to the Production Shift Supervisor.
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality assurance, and logistics teams to achieve goals.
- Document and communicate shift performance and status updates during handovers.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in aluminum extrusion or metal manufacturing processes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of extrusion equipment, die operations, and process optimization.

**Experience**:

- Minimum **3-5 years** in an industrial production environment, with supervisory or team leadership experience.
- **Preferred**: Specific experience working on **aluminum extrusion lines**.

**Working Conditions**:

- Fast-paced manufacturing environment with heat, noise, and moving machinery.
- Requires prolonged standing, operation of heavy machinery, and occasional material lifting.

**Job Type**:

**Pay**:
₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
