**Responsibilities**:

- Conducting physical counts of inventory items to compare against recorded quantities in the inventory management system. This involves counting, weighing, or measuring items accurately and efficiently.
- Identifying and investigating discrepancies between physical inventory counts and recorded inventory levels. Reconciling discrepancies by tracing errors, conducting recounts, or adjusting inventory records as necessary.
- Implementing and managing a cycle counting program to regularly audit subsets of inventory items on a rotational basis. This helps to maintain inventory accuracy without disrupting normal operations.
- Maintaining accurate records of inventory transactions, adjustments, and discrepancies. This includes updating inventory databases or software systems with correct information in a timely manner.
- Investigating the root causes of inventory discrepancies to prevent recurrence.
