A service technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment at customer locations, which includes diagnosing problems, troubleshooting issues, performing routine maintenance checks, and providing technical support to ensure equipment is functioning properly; essentially, they travel to customer sites to install, fix, and maintain various types of machinery or systems depending on their specialization. Key responsibilities of a service technician:

- **Installation**: Setting up new equipment and ensuring it operates correctly.
- **Maintenance**: Performing regular preventative maintenance checks to keep equipment in optimal condition.
- **Repairs**: Diagnosing and fixing malfunctioning equipment by identifying problems and implementing solutions.
- **Troubleshooting**: Analyzing issues and determining the root cause of problems.
- **Customer service**: Providing technical support and guidance to customers on proper equipment usage and maintenance.
- **Documentation**: Keeping detailed records of service performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
- **Travel**: Regularly visiting customer sites to provide on-site service.

Required skills for a service technician:

- Technical knowledge in their specific field
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Excellent customer service abilities
- Ability to read technical manuals and diagrams
- Hand-on experience with tools and equipment
- Good communication and problem-solving skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
