- Assess patients’ physical, mental, and emotional conditions to develop tailored therapy plans.
- Help patients improve daily living and work-related skills through therapeutic interventions.
- Utilize assistive devices, tools, and exercises to aid patient rehabilitation.
- Document patient progress, modify treatment plans, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Collaborate with doctors, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals for holistic care.
- Educate patients and families on therapy techniques for continued improvement at home.
- Conduct functional evaluations to identify challenges in mobility, coordination, and cognition.
- Promote independence and confidence in patients by focusing on their strengths.
- Stay updated with advancements in occupational therapy techniques and tools.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare standards and safety protocols during therapy sessions.
