**Role Overview**:
Work Location**:Chennai/Hybrid.**

We are seeking a Counselor who combines expertise in both profile building and undergraduate admissions. The role is designed to support students through two key stages of their journey:

- Grades 9-10 (Profile Building Focus): Helping students discover academic/career interests and guiding them to build a strong, holistic profile.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Profile Building (Grades 9-10)**:

- Conduct career exploration and interest mapping sessions.
- Design multi-year roadmaps covering academics, extracurricular activities, research, internships, volunteering, and summer schools.
- Recommend tailored activities such as online courses, competitions, projects, and community service.
- Track student growth and adjust plans as interests evolve.

**Admissions Counseling (Grades 11-12)**:

- Guide students in university shortlisting based on academic background, interests, and career goals.

**Across Both Stages**:

- Maintain consistent communication with students and parents to ensure progress and alignment.
- Stay updated on global admissions trends, scholarships, and testing requirements (SAT, ACT, IELTS/TOEFL).
- Ensure personalized attention (maximum ~50 students per counselor).

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in Education, Psychology, or related fields.
- Prior experience as a school counselor, career coach, or admissions advisor strongly preferred.
- Understanding of international curricula (IB, A-Levels, AP, CBSE, etc.) and study-abroad pathways.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Study abroad experience (preferred).
- Passion for mentoring teenagers and shaping their academic journeys.
